We are looking for a **Quantitative Research Analyst**to join our **Private Capital** **Investment Team.** If you are keenly interested in how macro (top-down) forces drive returns across constantly evolving financial markets and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, then this is a great opportunity for you. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in office and remote working days throughout the week.

**What You Will Do**
- Research and develop systematic macro signals in order to drive new investment insights
- Backtest signals to ensure high performance efficacy
- Automate the process for generating trades based on the signals developed
- Ongoing monitoring of the efficacy of trades generated compared to expectations
- Ad hoc research projects as appropriate
- Assist in the creation of presentation materials as appropriate

**What You Bring**
- Quantitative finance background with demonstrated programming skills
- At a minimum, an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics
- Two to three years of relevant industry experience or graduate level studies/CFA designation would be an asset
- Strong academic track record - with emphasis placed on quantitative courses
- Experience leveraging machine learning would be valuable for the role
