**Salary Range**: $73,864 - $92,330

Indspire is seeking an individual who is energized by challenges and passionate in being a part of shaping the future of education for Indigenous people in Canada. They will be accountable for delivering on the goals of the Student Success programs by managing a team who are creating a culturally driven mentorship space that supports the success of Indigenous students across Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing a team of that will deliver high quality and meaningful mentorship initiatives across stakeholder groups
- Collaborating with Director to develop and design Indspire’s mentorship initiatives.
- Striving to deliver programs that drive student satisfaction positively. Student Satisfaction is the attitude/impression resulting from an assessment of students’ educational experience, services and programs provided by Indspire’s Rivers to Success.
- Advocating for continuous improvement of existing programs and development of new mentorship models with internal and external partners
- Enhancing and expanding high-quality programs by leading a team to plan, develop, and implement impactful community programs and partnerships that respond to local needs and context
- Connecting and collaborating with private, public, and non-profit organizations to identify partnership opportunities
- Engaging staff, volunteers, community members, and partners in our work
- Representing the organization in community, on working groups, and committees as appropriate
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including the Development department on proposals to attract private sector funding for mentorship activities and to report to funders on impact and outcomes
- Defining standards for community engagement including emphasis on strengthening relationships, building capacity and designing and implementing innovative solutions
- Managing and continuing to build a team of individuals in delivering on mentorship programs across the high school, post secondary and prospective employee spaces
- Overseeing program to ensure timelines are followed and adherence to program work plan
- Leading an annual, comprehensive evaluation of the program and design methods to collect evaluation information or data such as surveys to monitor success and feedback from both mentors and participating students. (Student Satisfaction)
- Overseeing the collection of program information, data and provides periodic program reports and other reports as required by Indspire’s performance measurement system.
- Developing ways to leverage existing data to influence and frame new growth opportunities
- Tracking and monitoring expenditures to ensure program budget management is in keeping with the program budgetary guidelines.
- Working closely with Director, Manager, Building Brighter Futures and Lead Researcher.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in project coordination or program management
- Experience in the education sector is essential
- Multi-staff managerial experience
- Excellent organizational time management skills, including the ability to organize workload, set priorities and respond effectively to competing demands
- Understanding of General Ledgers reconciliation and accounting
- Strong judgment and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize competing demands.
- Proven experience in engaging and/or understanding Indigenous communities and knowledge of culture, traditions and/or language
- Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Proven employee coach, adept at managing performance and people
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others including mentors/mentees.
- Ability to travel to support recruitment and training as program needs arise.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and database systems.
