**About the Company**

**About the Position**

The RF Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Radio Frequency (RF) systems in various environments, with a focus on Public Safety and Mission-Critical Communications. This role supports key wireless communications infrastructure, ensuring reliable and high-quality service.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the RF Technician works both independently and as part of a team to perform fieldwork that ensures the proper functioning of RF equipment, including antennas, cables, connectors, and other transmission components. This hands-on technical position is ideal for someone adaptable, dependable, and experienced in telecommunications systems.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot RF radio equipment.
- Complete field assignments for both new and existing installations.
- Conduct signal testing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform technical site assessments and prepare work areas in compliance with safety and installation guidelines.
- Document work activities, including installation data, troubleshooting actions, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments as needed to meet project timelines and service standards.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as internal protocols while working on-site.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous experience as an RF Technician or in a similar cable installation/maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of RF signal transmission, coaxial cable systems, and related diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and signal-level diagrams.
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights; able to lift, climb, and handle tools and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple field assignments.
- Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

**Work Environment**
- Field-based, with some time in the office.
- May require working at heights, in confined spaces, or in high-security areas.
