Junior Framer/ Carpenter

**Growing company looking for ambitious, hardworking individuals to join our team.** Job is framing residential homes, working outdoors, physically demanding Possesses a positive attitude and a professional demeanor towards colleagues, clients and the trade **Qualifications**: - Must have a minimum of 2-year experience and relevant experience in construction/ framing - Valid Working at Heights and WHMIS Training - Able to operate hand and power tools - Able to follow/provide instructions and work independently - Able to find transportation to worksite and from worksite - Able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors - Able to read and follow blueprints **Tasks**: - Framing of additions and new builds based on provided blueprints - Measure, cut, shape and assemble building materials - Pack and unpack tools and materials at the beginning and end of the day - Perform tasks assigned to them in a timely manner - Follow site protocols involving health and safety (i.e. wearing proper personal protective equipment) - Physically demanding work (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting ) 2 year experience "G" Driver's License Day to Day Tasks Would Include; - Squaring and sheeting walls - Leveling walls - Laying out walls per drawings - Marking out for floor joists - Installing steel beams and posts - Raising and spreading roof trusses - framing roof **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay **Experience**: - Building Framers: 1 year (preferred) - carpentry: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
