**MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TO CLIENTS HOME IN RICHMOND HILL AND VAUGHAN**

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
- Happier Aging is at the heart of what we do — enabling seniors to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
- Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
- Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
- Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
- Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid certificate for PSW, HCA Or foreign trained nurse
- **Must have a car to travel independently to clients home anywhere in Vaughan and Richmond hill**:

- Currently enrolled in Caregiver or Nursing education
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
- Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
- Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
- 2 Professional references
- CPR certification
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
- Have a valid SIN and eligibility to work in Canada.

**Preference will be given**:

- Italian, Greek speaking caregiver Or having experience taking care of family /culture. Being bilingual is an asset.
- Having a vehicle/valid driver license is required.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is an asset
- Experience with Mechanical Lifts and Transfers
- Experience with individuals with Dementia and/or Alzheimer's
- Experience caring for individuals with limited to no mobility

- AMS - Attendance Monitoring System (AlayaCare)
- NPS; Client Score of 10

**COVID-19 considerations**:

- Full PPE kit issued on hire. Proof of Covid -19 vaccination mandatory.
- Daily screening for clients and caregivers.
