**Oakville Soccer Club**

The Oakville Soccer Club, founded in 1972, is the largest amateur soccer club in Canada, with over 19,000

participants coached by over 900 volunteer and professional coaches. OSC is based at its 100,000 square foot

indoor soccer facility on Pine Glen Road in North Oakville, and proudly carries the Ontario Soccer Association’s

Gold Standard Award for Club Excellence.

OSC’s tradition of excellence includes eight national championships, 56 Ontario Cup winners and a large number

of players selected to represent Canada both at national and international levels. In addition to OSC's large

House League program, the Club currently participates in a variety of competitive leagues including the Ontario

Player Development League. OSC is committed to providing a positive soccer experience to every player through

technical training, encouragement and opportunities for players to advance their soccer and life skills.

**Li’l Oscars Program Description**

Li’l Oscars is a parented program that OSC has developed for participants ages 2-4. Using the principles of

physical literacy, this program is designed to shape our future sports stars through active play-based activities

that will develop coordination skills, listening skills and basic motor skills. Li’l Oscar Facilitators will lead a fun and

engaging 45-minute session each week that will help participants develop fundamental movement and social

skills. This program runs Monday and Wednesday evenings at 4:30p.m. indoor at the Pine Glen Soccer Centre.

**Roles, Responsibilities & Qualifications**
- Deliver OSC's Active Start and Li’l Oscars Curriculum to participants 2 - 4 years of age
- Experience working with children 2 - 4 years of age
- Provide a fun, inclusive and engaging environment and learning experience for players
- Be enthusiastic, energetic, and engaged at all times
- Be on time for all shifts and assist with other tasks as required
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification preferred but not mandatory
- Submit monthly invoices using the template provided by OSC
- Successful applicants ages 18 and up will be required to submit a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening
