**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:
- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of payroll processing operations for 3000 employees, including review of payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors
- Ensures accurate calculation of wages and processing of tax withholding and company deductions
- Keeps fully apprised of all legislative changes and policy changes
- Manages reporting requests (i.e. employee pay, commission and bonuses, vacation and sick, disability)
- Analyzes compensation-related data
- Supervises team members, including providing backup support
- Provides training to team on policies, regulations and processes
- Assists team with resolving errors and responding to inquiries
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operational processes and implements enhancements related to payroll processes
- Participates and leads special projects, including working with vendors and IT on enhancements/system modifications
- Oversees and assists with year-end processing
- Monitor and assist with weekly time collection
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree + 6 years of relevant payroll processing and analysis experience or Diploma + 8 years of relevant payroll processing and analysis experience.
- Payroll Designation from the National Payroll Institute
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prior experience as a Payroll Supervisor or Payroll Analyst required
- Deep knowledge of tax regulations and Canada legislation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Products
- Experience with ServiceNow and/or Workday HR
- Experience processing within ADP platform (GlobalView preferred)
- French/English bilingual ability
