**About the Job**

We are currently seeking a **full-time mover** to **immediately** join our team.

Working in a fast-paced environment, Movers are physically involved in every part of the furniture and home accessories transportation process, from warehouse pick-up to warehouse return. Movers support day-to-day staging operations to make sure items are well-maintained and where they need to be.

**Salary**

We are offering between $20/hour to $23/hour, depending on level of seniority, plus a competitive benefits package for full-time employees.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
As a Mover, your duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Pick/pack inventory and load trucks according to that day’s plan.
- Drive a truck to the designated property.
- Unload the truck and place furniture within the property, as per the lead stager’s instructions.
- Assist in hanging art and draperies.
- At the completion of a staging engagement, return to the property to remove all Stage Right furnishings, wrap and load the truck according to a packing list.
- Return to the warehouse and restock inventory, as required.
- Clean and maintain the Stage Right warehouses.
- Clean and ensure safety and maintenance of all Stage Right trucks.
- Prepare, fill out, and review records and reports (e.g., customer signatures, delivery paperwork).
- Inspect merchandise for quality and damages and reporting merchandise issues.
- Move and adjust furniture after delivery.
- Other tasks as required by the manager or stager.

**Minimum Requirements**
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license (G-class) -Driver’s abstract will be requested.
- Ability to move objects heavier than 44 lbs multiple times per day.
- Ability to communicate in English (i.e., reading, writing, speaking).

**Desired** **Experience and** **Qualifications**

**Experience**
- Experience driving a large or oversized vehicle, or similar.
- Experience moving furniture or large objects between locations, or similar physically intensive work.

**Qualifications**
- Familiarity with how to properly lift and move heavy items.
- Understanding of safe driving and the rules of the road.
- Physical stamina to move heavy items for extended periods of time.
- Friendly, customer service-oriented communication.
- Ability to follow directions provided by a team leader.
- Ability to work efficiently and at a fast pace, when needed.
- Ability to make sound judgments and practical decisions when faced with challenges and uncertain situations.
