**Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing supplies in assigned categories, monitoring inventories and working with suppliers.**

**Your main tasks will be**:

- Ensure optimal inventory levels for the product categories under your responsibility, taking into account receiving and warehousing capacities;
- Maintain supply parameters in line with inventory management strategy;
- Establish and maintain product sales forecasts to ensure adequate supply;
- Analyze and monitor performance indicators (inventory level, turnover rate, inventory budget, product status);
- Follow-up with suppliers on all incoming product issues;
- Manage supplier returns;
- Update product information in the system;
- Work in conjunction with the Negotiator and Merchandising Manager: excess inventory/long rotation/circular ads/supplier agreements...

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Training in procurement (an asset);
- Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, ideally in the food industry;
- Proficiency in Word and Excel;
- Bilingualism;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Team spirit;
- Initiative and autonomy;
