**Job Overview**

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in fostering a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children. You’ll plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities while building strong relationships with children, families, and team members.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth through play-based learning.
- Create a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Observe, document, and report on children's developmental progress.
- Communicate openly with parents, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones.
- Lead group activities such as storytelling, singing, and art projects.
- Supervise field trips and other experiential learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with cleaning as needed.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **ECE Certification (Level 2 or 3 only)** - _required_
- **Valid First Aid & CPR Certification** - _required_
- **Food Safety Certification** - _required_
- Clear **Criminal Record Check** and **Vulnerable Sector Check**:

- Experience working in early childhood settings
- Strong classroom management and child development knowledge
- Ability to support children with varying abilities, including disabilities
- Proficient in documentation and computer-based tasks
- Bilingualism is an asset
