**Residential Carpenter**

At G.R Roy Construction, we are looking to hire Residential Carpenters for our various projects including residential, commercial etc. We provide a safe, challenging and rewarding work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Familiar with operating/handling numerous kinds of construction tools
- Demonstrate ability to gain knowledge quickly
- Follow safety precautions, procedures and policies
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Work safely around or with Heavy Equipment operators
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Working on construction sites
- Able to work in Inclement weather (ex: extreme heat/rain, cold/snow, etc.)
- Physically fit (ex. able to walk, climb, reaching above, at or below shoulder height, bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs/22.7 kg
- Knowledge of construction rules, codes and standards
- Previous construction experience is considered an asset
- Ability to perform effective verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with 40-50 hours a week
- Punctual and reliable
- Be a team player
- Have a valid driver's license
- Provide a drivers abstract
