**Board Director (Volunteer)**

Pacific Canada Heritage Centre - Museum of Migration Society is seeking dedicated individuals to join the Board of Directors.

**Start date**: Immediately following the recruitment process, to be ratified at the Annual General Meeting to be held in October, 2025.

**About the Pacific Canada Heritage Centre - Museum of Migration Society**

Pacific Canada Heritage Centre - Museum of Migration (PCHC-MoM) is a charitable organization based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our mission is to curate our collective im/migration histories to educate and foster belonging in Pacific Canada while acknowledging our role as guests on unceded Indigenous lands.

We aspire to broaden Pacific Canada’s collective migration narrative to include historically marginalized people’s lived experiences and to create a space where all are welcomed and respected.

**Responsibilities as a Director**

We are currently seeking 1-2 dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a director of this Working Board, you will play a crucial role not only in shaping the future of our nonprofit charitable society but also the day-to-day operations.

We are particularly interested in individuals with experience and/or passion for marketing, fundraising and event planning.

Directors serve a two-year term, which may be renewed three times.

Key responsibilities include:

- Attend Board meetings every two months and Annual General Meetings
- Work with other directors and volunteers to actively shape the direction and growth of PCHC-MoM
- Support special events to advocate for and promote PCHC-MoM’s mission

**Application Process**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $1.00 per year

Expected hours: 2 - 5 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC V6A 1X5
