Sheet Metal Journeyman

**We are Hiring Sheet Metal JOURNEYPERSON**

Based in Victoria BC on the Saanich Peninsula, we are a family owned and operated,

Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm

Alternating Fridays 7:00am to 3:30pm, following Friday OFF

Red Seal ticketed Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker ideally with focused experience in HVAC & ductwork installations (high end residential & light commercial). We also have a custom fabrication division of our shop; some custom fabrication knowledge would be an asset.

**Ideal Qualifications**:

- Skilled Trade Certificate (Interprovincial Red Seal)
- Knowledge of use of hand tools, power tools and duct layout is essential.
- Able to operate machinery such as drill presses, press brakes, hand brakes, hydraulic shear etc.
- Reading and interpreting engineered blueprints.
- Good communication with contractors / owners / other employees.
- Self motivated with a great work ethic and attitude.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Safety conscious.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $41.51 - $46.12 per hour (based on experience level)
