We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Daycare Attendant at The Petaway Pet Hotel and Spa. As a Daycare Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our furry guests. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will contribute to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervision and Engagement: Monitor and supervise dogs in the daycare area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage in interactive play, provide mental stimulation, and promote positive socialization among the dogs.

Basic Care: Attend to the daily needs of the dogs, including feeding, watering, and providing bathroom breaks according to their schedules and specific requirements.

Enforcing Rules and Safety: Implement and enforce daycare policies and guidelines to maintain a safe and controlled environment. Prevent and manage any conflicts or behavioral issues that may arise among the dogs, following proper protocols.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and any pertinent information. Update files and communicate relevant details to pet parents and other team members as necessary.

Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain a clean and organized daycare area, including regular cleaning of toys, play equipment, and common areas. Follow proper sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for both dogs and staff.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to pet parents, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and providing updates on their pets' daycare experiences. Build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and satisfaction.

Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures, including knowledge of canine behavior, basic first aid, and CPR.

Qualifications:

- Passion for animals and a genuine love for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Previous experience working with dogs in a daycare, shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of canine behavior, body language, and basic health and safety practices.
- Ability to handle dogs of various temperaments and behavior traits with patience and confidence.
- Excellent observation skills, with the ability to identify signs of stress, anxiety, or aggression in dogs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with pet parents and fellow team members.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting dogs of varying sizes.
- Flexibility in work schedule, as daycare services may extend beyond regular business hours.
