Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills, to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to determine machine set-up, tooling, and machining methods
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to identify and resolve issues that may affect production quality or efficiency
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machining is preferred
- Proven experience as a machinist, with expertise in operating a variety of machine tools
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and the ability to perform accurate measurements
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain quality and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

**Salary**: $18.18-$30.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
