Job Overview:
Join our team at YaYa & Co., a leading fashion retailer known for its trendy and unique clothing selections. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a vibrant shopping environment across our multiple locations in Ontario.

**Duties**:

- Provide top-notch customer service to all shoppers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in product selection and guide them through purchasing decisions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision and offer accurate change to customers.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
- Strive to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
- Stay informed about product knowledge and current promotions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated experience in retail sales, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to sell products and upsell additional items.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
- Experience with product demonstrations is advantageous.
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued, especially in languages spoken within the local community.
- Excellent cashiering skills, including accurate transaction processing and exceptional customer service.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and monitor inventory levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
