**Short Summary**:
The _Marketing and Communications Coordinator _is responsible for providing administrative support to the Department and supporting in the creation of dynamic content to foster engagement with key stakeholder groups and representing a consistent, brand-aligned and positive organizational image through effective media and public relations strategies.
- Contributes to the creative content for the Tower’s marketing and communications
- Evaluates incoming media inquiries, assists in coordinating responses to requests
- Maintains list and schedule for relevant content creators
- Contributes to photography and videography and graphics for the Tower’s social media
- Contributes story ideas and supports in the development of initiatives
- Supports social media monitoring for sensitive topics and issues
- Schedules approved social media posts
- Maintains a departmental calendar of activities and seasonal initiatives
- Provides administrative support on departmental projects and initiatives
- Maintains departmental office supplies
- Supports management of photography and collateral materials

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism or equivalent experience is required.
- One (1) to three 3 years of related experience in public relations, social media and/or marketing communication is required.
- Proficiency in French is considered an asset
- Advanced skills in the MS Office environment and Microsoft Office Suite
