**Scope and Responsibilities**

This role is for temporary staffing assignments to facilities, hospitals, and private clients in Toronto.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, cooking, and housekeeping
- Escort the client to doctor appointments and daily errands such as shopping and banking
- Patient care which include but not limited to recording oral intake and measure urinary output, collecting specimens, etc.
- Assist healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Respite relief to the client by offering supervision and companionship to the client
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure and effective and efficient patient care and delivery
- Maintain confidentiality at all times according to hospital privacy policy and code of conduct procedures

**Who We Are Looking For**
- PSW certificate from an accredited institution or equivalent
- NACC certificate if credentials were obtained from a private career college
- Working knowledge of spoken and written English and ability to take direction from appropriate professional hospital employees
- Sound organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work well under stress
- Has a compassionate, patient, and caring nature with a client-focused approachHas the flexibility to work different shifts: morning, evening, night (4-hour, 8-hour, or 12-hour shifts)

Monday to Sunday (depending on your availability)

4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts
