Hardscape Technician

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the construction and demolition of various hardscape structures.
- Load and unload structural materials and move materials in work areas.
- Excavate and prepare bases for hardscape installations.
- Understand and execute grading principles to ensure proper drainage.
- Size, cut, and lay pavers for patios, walkways, and driveways.
- Assist with carpentry work for outdoor structures such as decks and pergolas.
- Install garden beds, sod, riverwash, and plantings to complement hardscape designs.
- Clean and maintain professional work sites, ensuring safety and organization.
- Take direction and perform other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a trade or labor-intensive position, including landscaping, carpentry, construction, or concrete work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions for construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in challenging situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically fit to handle long hours and various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in operating tools and machinery related to hardscape installations.
- Strong oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- A valid Full G driver’s license with a clear driving abstract is required.
- Commitment to safety procedures and adherence to company policies.
