**Sales Associate - Full Time**

We’re looking for a Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team at our home décor and furniture store in downtown Napanee. At Sweet William, we take pride in creating a relaxed, welcoming space where customers feel at ease. Our approach to sales is thoughtful and genuine—built on connection, conversation, and helping people find pieces they truly love.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Provide a warm and welcoming experience to every customer
- Offer thoughtful recommendations and style advice based on customer needs
- Confidently guide sales, upsell when appropriate, and assist with custom orders
- Process in-store purchases, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and care
- Merchandise the store, including seasonal displays, product styling, and signage
- Help maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new inventory
- Occasionally use ladders or step stools when merchandising or stocking
- Lift and move items (furniture, boxes) up to 50 lbs as needed
- For the right person, there may be opportunities to grow with us as we expand our online and in-store offerings

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- A genuine interest in home décor and design
- Strong communication skills and comfort with technology (POS, iPad, etc.)
- Fluent in English; bilingualism is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy, ever-changing environment
- Reliable, proactive, and kind—with a sharp eye for detail and a team mindset
- Willingness to learn—we provide product knowledge to help you feel confident guiding customers through our collection

**Bonus Points For**:

- Experience with photography, social media, or merchandising
- Skills in graphic design, content creation, or Shopify
- Leadership or management potential for future growth

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
