**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and seasonal themes.
- Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing.
- Ensure all cakes meet quality standards for presentation and taste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare cake bases and other baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Package finished products for display or customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and custom orders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance decorating skills.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cake decorating or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with an artistic flair for design.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and decorating.
- A background in restaurant or culinary arts is a plus.
