**Position Summary**:
This position is the key day-to-day role and point of contact for internal & external customers.

Coordinates the logistics & shipping/receiving activities for project parts and materials support of

**PIPELINE**, **FIELD JOINT COATING** and **AUTOMATIC WELDING** equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Shipping
- Leads status of shipping orders by way of equipment and serial number verification on WEO, quantities issued/backordered, required ship date, and freight requirements
- Contacts freight companies and procures/confirms cost information, pick up schedules, and expected delivery of goods and equipment
- Direct Supervision over bills of lading.
- Proficient in the process of domestic and international paperwork required for shipment of goods and equipment.
- Assists truck driver in picking up and delivering parts or equipment from or to various vendors, export packers, or freight forwarders.

**Receiving**
- Oversight to documents related to transactions of all purchase and work orders.
- Expectation to use prior experience to improve on internal processes in management of materials and equipment, including document verification, condition of goods, and quantity verification
- Receives, inspects and documents return of rental equipment and consigned warehouses
- Coordinates and/or assists in unloading of goods and equipment received during or outside of normal working hours.
- Documents receipts of said goods as required for Accounting, Production Control, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Shipping
- Effective communication and Coordination with sales, shop staff and outside parties
- Performs visual inspection and delivers materials to QC Department as required when machine inspection is needed
- Maintains outside process log and initiates movement of materials by notification to required personnel
- Supports the ethical and professional compliance of all company policies and procedures
- Management of Shop consumables
- Under direction of Equipment/Shop Manager, employee must maintain work and yard area in an organized manner
- Safety compliance and participation to make improvements to processes and procedures.

**Job Requirements**:

- Formal certification in either Warehouse and Logistics Management is highly desired
- High School diploma (at minimum), with further education and experience in shipping-receiving, logistics, supply chain and Inventory Management.
- Solid understanding of a functioning shop and the tooling used daily.
- Background in warehouse organization and managing work-flow, process improvement, cycle count programs, TDG, knowledge of customs compliance and procedures.
- Willingness to advance through additional training and certifications.
- Knowledge of pipeline equipment and parts or similar experience
- Proficient in MS Outlook
- Proficient oral and written communicator
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in software and data entry, ideally some SAP or other ERP familiarity
- Needs driver’s license in good standing and forklift certification.
- Heavy Work - carrying up to 50 pounds as required.
- Team player able to work under tight deadlines
- REQUIRED LICENSE and/or CERTIFICATION: Driver’s License in Good Standing and Forklift Certification
