Buckingham Sports strives to be a leader in the recreational sports industry by providing a healthy environment for recreational and competitive needs. “Hockey is our business”, with ice rinks, restaurants, snack bars and pro shops, we provide a dynamic and full-service sports experience to our customers.

**Job Summary**

In this role, you will be working as part of the facility maintenance team to ensure the regular and timely upkeep of the ice rinks, ice quality and overall arena functions and cleanliness. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Operate ice resurfacing equipment in a safe manner to maintain ice quality.
- Monitor all refrigeration equipment and ensure logs are kept up to date and accurate.
- Janitorial duties as assigned - cleaning, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, etc.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of building facility.
- Proper record keeping of safety checklist and sign in/out reports.
- General upkeep of the grounds, entrance and parking lots.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations and safe work practices, including building and fire codes.
- Provide courteous customer service as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and safe work environment.

**Experience and Requirements**
- Previous experience with Zamboni is an asset.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
- Evenings and weekends availability is preferred.
- Good communication skills and able to communicate in English is a must.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be physically fit for the job.
- The desire to serve the sports community is a bonus.

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
