Our Technical Advisory team sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology and industry and thrives on turning ideas and innovations into breakthrough results for leading organizations around the world. The Technical Advisory team provides strategic advice on how best to adopt and optimize Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Operating Model, Security and Governance to drive digital transformation that align with a client’s business strategy, constraints, and technology to enable realization of demonstrable business value. We deliver our broad range of advisory services through an integrated, collaborative approach between our clients and practitioners.
Skills and experiences
- 5+ years of management consulting experience from a top management or professional services firm.
- Comprehension of the Data/ Analytics strategy and COE definition; AND/OR, understanding of the Artificial Intelligence space, and the ethical themes for AI such as usage and effectiveness, fairness, transparency, or privacy.
- Experience discussing a wide range of strategic imperatives across functional, operational, and technological issues.
- Demonstrable skills in analyzing and understanding a variety of problems experienced by medium to large-scale organizations from strategy to implementation.
- Previous experience working on multiple Advisory / Strategy engagements in a highly matrixed external client facing environment, with Talent, Project, & Budget.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing and maintaining relationships with executive level clients.

What you'll do
- Advise our clients on their technology transformation, leveraging their digital ambitions, and optimizing their business-technology environments.
- Lead with a team of business leaders, technical and sales experts to determine the strategy for offering identification and investment opportunities and drive strategic changes to the portfolio.
- Drive a culture of consistent and ongoing client upsell and cross sell opportunities to develop long-lasting client relationships.
- Lead the development, management, and presentation of deliverables to clients, internal teams and sales at management and C suite/ Executive levels.
- Effectively position Technical Advisory capabilities and services with sales teams, channels, and target clients.
- Develop compelling technology strategies, including IT Strategy, IT Operating Model, Journey to Cloud strategies, amongst others for our clients, bringing a business-first advisory lens and consultative approach to the process.
- Understand customer business drivers and strategies, architectures, IT adoption roadmaps, operating models, KPIs, to measure and monitor benefits realization.
- Provide advice to our clients, helping them understand the true potential of technology to transform their business, bridging the gap between business and IT as you build strong client relationships.
- Work with Avanade and business partners in defining solutions as part of sales pursuits and marketing activities.
