**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, accurately recording all entries in QuickBooks.
- Prepare, process, and reconcile construction invoices, progress billings, bank statements, and project-specific financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, job cost reports, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Handle regular financial duties while addressing ad-hoc tasks as required, ensuring efficiency and quick turnaround.
- Use strong analytical judgment to review transactions, identify discrepancies, and escalate concerns for further investigation.
- Maintain organized, accurate financial documentation in line with company policies and industry regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and clients to manage billing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Support tax filings, audits, lien waiver tracking, and compliance-related tasks specific to the construction industry.
- Monitor, track, and report project expenses, promptly flagging discrepancies to management.
- Conduct accurate financial data entry, analysis, and reporting to assist senior finance and project management teams.
- Adapt flexibly to evolving organizational needs, undertaking additional responsibilities to support the finance and accounting team.

**Qualifications**
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, and financial reconciliation processes in construction.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing financial demands and project needs.
