**Salary**: $20/h

**YOUR ROLE**

You are responsible for preparing the preweigh, ensuring the quality and quantity of all handadds, also assists with the loading and unloading of trucks, bagging, and inventory management. He may be required to cover the bagging duties during holidays or absences of other staff members.

The current shift would be 9 a.m to 5 p.m, but must be prepared to work shift work when required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate DSL Preweigh to prepare each shortmix according to the standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper shortmix containers and medications scoops are used according to our medication sequencing guidelines.
- Label and store medications and vitamins.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of shortmix containers, scoops, and scales and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of bulk trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of shortmix area.
- Manage the inventory of shortmix materials in their area and report and discrepancies.
- Cover the Bagging duties during holidays or absences of other staff members.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to drive a forklift with a valid certification.
- Previous experience in feed mill operations such as bagging, packaging, or warehouse operations preferred, an asset.
- Some computer knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, weighing, and labeling the bags.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the production deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, shift work, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
