Job Summary
The Program Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for ensuring high quality service delivery. The Program Manager supervises the program support workers and provides strategic oversight to all aspects of daily operations. The Program Manager will work with the Director of Operations to help build relationships with community partners to enhance supports available to the people we serve.
The Program Manager will oversee the professional development of program support staff and ensure the program aligns with the strategic plan. They will cultivate relationships with internal business partners of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa, with external stakeholders and attend meetings in the community to represent the Belong Ottawa as required. They will implement organizational initiatives, training and development plans and oversee resources for staff and program success, and participate in financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial and other data collection and reporting including identifying funding opportunities, proposal writing and funding reporting.

**Responsibilities**:
Program Delivery
- Collaborates to develop strategies to improve the overall quality of programs and services and overseas the execution of this strategy.
- Manages, leads and works alongside the Social Support Workers to ensure service delivery is aligned with organizational values, harm reduction principles and the strategic plan.
- Oversees the daily operations of the program and ensure overall quality of service delivery and excellence in workplace practices.
- Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and community partners.
- Acts as an ambassador of the Day Programs and represents the organization positively within the community.
- Ensures the program stays within budget, tracks, and reports expenses and collects and reports on all identified service delivery indicators.
- Assists in the development of annual work plans for all program employees and Centre 454.
- Tracks program service delivery data including critical incidents in accordance with Belong Ottawa databases, methods and systems.
- Ensure that all program activity data is captured in HIFIS.
- Organizes and chairs team meetings.
- Works in collaboration with other Program Managers and Director Operations to schedule program support workers
- Assumes rotating on call responsibilities, and supports Centre 454 during all hours of operation, while supporting St. Luke’s Table and The Well during absences of respective Program Manager.

Personnel Management
- Supports the recruitment and selection of new Social Support Workers and other frontline workers as required.
- Assesses the current and future need for staff and volunteers within the program and advises the Director in order to meet ongoing staffing needs.
- Seeks out and implements training and development opportunities for staff based upon organizational and program needs.
