Who We Are
Canoe Therapy is an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team offering Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Behavioural Therapy. We take a holistic approach, considering the child and family as a whole and working collaboratively with their broader team.

- Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- 1-3 years of pediatric experience
- Previous experience in private practice
- Post-graduate certificates or training in two or more of the following (or similar):
- Lidcombe Program for Childhood Stuttering
- TalkTools Oral Placement Therapy (OPT)
- Kaufman Technique for Apraxia of Speech
- PROMPT
- PECS
- AAC
- ASL or Signed Exact English
- Hanen Programs
- Literacy
- Autism
- Down Syndrome
- Selective Mutism
- Neuro-motor / neuro-developmental conditions
- Genetic conditions
- Global Developmental Delay
- Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C
About the Role
This position involves hands-on assessment, consultation, and treatment for children from birth to young adulthood across a wide range of diagnoses — including those without a formal diagnosis. While clinic-based work is primary, services may also be delivered in school or community settings.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $80.00 per hour
