Brantford, Canada True North Disc Golf Full time

Wage starts off at $18/hr, we will revisit this at 3 months of employment.

We’re not your average retail shop—we’re a community hub for **plant lovers** and **disc golf enthusiasts**. As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the friendly face customers count on for great advice, good vibes, and expert support. You’ll help water and maintain plants, assist shoppers in-store, and help pack and fulfill online disc golf orders.

**Plant Care & Sales**
- Water, prune, and maintain the health of all outdoor plants
- Spot pests or issues and take proactive care steps
- Seeding peppers come the Fall

**Disc Golf Sales & Support**
- Guide customers in choosing the right discs based on their skill level and preferences
- Stay familiar with disc types, brands, and flight numbers
- Unbox, label, and display new disc inventory
- Occasionally assist with packing and fulfilling online disc golf orders

**Retail & Customer Service**
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and process purchases via POS
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout
- Help create fun in-store displays for both disc golf and plant sections
- Support inventory checks and restocking as needed

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Friendly and approachable with great customer service skills
- Comfortable caring for plants and learning about plant needs
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask during busier hours
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willing to pitch in wherever needed—from watering plants to packing online orders

**Nice-to-Haves**:

- Experience in retail, garden centers, or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with disc golf equipment and the sport itself
- Interest in plants or gardening (especially tomato and pepper)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

- Day shift

Work days:

- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
