The General Laborers role is to assist the Production Supervisor in material handling, equipment/property/building maintenance and housekeeping. Tasks include:

- Sort, palletize and load/unload parts throughout the production process
- Assist with loading and unloading of customer goods from trucks
- Assist coaters with masking and loading/unloading parts from ovens
- Assist the Shipper/Receiver with wrapping parts
- Lift items up to 50lbs
- Maintain the property - mowing, snow removal, and general clean-up
- Operate in compliance with our Quality Assurance Program
- Adhere to requirements of our Safety program
- Help in other areas of the shop as required

**Must haves**:

- Strong work ethic
- High school education
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- No criminal record
- At least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds
- Desire to work over-time
- Good command of written and verbal English

**Optional/Beneficial Skills**:

- Overhead crane experience
- Forklift/Reach Truck
- First aid certificate
- WHMIS certificate

- Paid vacation and sick time
- Monday to Friday work schedule with weekends off. OT and weekend work may be required depending on work volumes and customer demand.

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
