- and long-term interests of the company, its employees and its customers and ensuring the highest-level customer service possible.
- Assisting the General Manager in executing the day-to-day activities in support of the strategic planning initiatives to ensure a productive and profitable operation

**Operations Terminal Manager Job Responsibilities**:
**Customers**
- Ensures the provision of the highest level of customer service possible, promoting quality customer service among staff by acting as a positive role model
- Compile all customer complaints and suggestions and take action or escalate to the relevant department
- Ensures feedback loop to other departments with customer comments and employee opinions

**People**
- Hire people who are passionate about our products and philosophy and maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing outstanding performance & service and by motivating & developing staff
- Review that all company processes and policies have been communicated and executed by the staff
- Maintain staff levels that allow for the best possible customer service
- Carry out Manager performance evaluations and goal assessments and supports Manager for staff evaluations
- Organize and lead meetings with Managers to ensure appropriate communication
- Ensures Managers are verifying staff positioning during the shift according to the shop activity and priorities
- Prepare the work schedule to ensure that the store(s) goals will be met through appropriate planning & organization of staff and manage absences and health management with HR
- Provide an ‘open door’ policy where employees are free to express their concerns & feelings without fear of retribution or ill will
- Promote engagement and usage of all company Digital Platforms

**Sales & Operations**
- Review sales by store, category and brand, compared to previous sales and budget
- Ensure that daily sales and targets are being tracked by the Shift Supervisors and Sales Associates. Analyze if any issue in the terminal/store might be affecting the weekly sales/targets and take corrective actions if needed
- Review the inventory and cycle count plans for the stores, ensuring appropriate execution
- Identify any replenishment issues and take necessary action to correct them
- Ensures that the store is in compliance with all Airport, Provincial and Federal laws/regulations
- Manages the team to improve the customer experience through excellent operation standards
- Manages marketing strategy, working with General Manager and Management team, including price changes, merchandising standards, TSRP and promotional changeovers
- Ensures all health & safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Compliance to all Loss Prevention practices and protocols.

**Finance**
- Ensures team is following correct cash handling processes and addressing any inconsistencies
- In conjunction with the General Manager, formulate the fiscal revenue, expense and profit goals, as well as the inventory levels for the store(s)
- Ensure that goals will be met through appropriate planning and organization of staff, inventory and expenses and ensuring that staff are aware of sales goals
- Review the store(s) progress with the General Manager
- Performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or leadership team of which the team member is capable of performing.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 3 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a management role.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build effective teams and motivate employees
- Knowledge of effective merchandise presentation standards
- Understanding of basic retail concepts.
- Strong working knowledge of all airport operations.
- SAP experience is an asset
