The Inventory Coordinator will report to the Senior Supervisor, Logistics & Inventory and other designated management as required. The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for managing assigned inventories through daily, weekly, monthly and annual physical counts, in accordance with all regulations, and adhering to Health Canada and CRA requirements. Maintains communication with internal departments, monitors supply usage and removes and disposes of obsolete or outdated products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure safe work conditions and practices by enforcing company Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring all food safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
- Manage assigned inventories through daily, weekly, and monthly physical counts in accordance with all regulations, adhering to Health Canada and CRA requirements.
- Monitor supply usage, remove and dispose of obsolete or outdated products.
- Organize and lead team in conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusting quantities and locations as required.
- Investigate and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist with product recalls and product returns.
- Analyze product usage and adjust inventory levels as needed to optimize inventory levels.
- Perform causative research and reconciliation prior to preparing reports.
- Take action regarding supply shortages, keeping management informed and making recommendations based on analysis of information.
- Maintain communication with internal departments.
- Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and implement lean principles in inventory management.
- Provide oversight for inventory-related projects and assignments.
- Work safely, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Perform additional duties as required.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or relevant field preferred;
- Possess the ability to work safely, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality, while continuously looking for ways to improve processes and procedures;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with a good understanding of SAP/C365 or equivalent system;
- Excellent personal organization and strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Willingness to learn, improve and adapt;
- Strong documentation and record-keeping aptitude.

You are TECHNICALLY SAVVY, proficient with logistics and inventory software, MS Office Suite and other ERP platforms.

You are an EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATOR, with strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills and coordination skills.

You are a STRATEGIC PROBLEM SOLVER, analytical in mindset and capable of interpreting laws and regulations, tracking multiple facets of supply chain and logistics, and coordinating vendors/suppliers and inventory to ensure on time delivery and accountability.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years’ experience in logistics management, inventory control and customer service;
- Experience working with ERP systems and inventory control platforms;
- Strong experience with word processing, databases and spreadsheets.

The salary range for this position is $57k - 80k.
