Anchor Construction Industrial Products has been supplying the construction industry with power tools, anchors and fasteners and safety products for over 56 years. Through our 6 branches in Western Canada we provide the products, service and knowledge that makes us a premier supplier in our industry.
We are looking for an outside sale representative who can expand our business in Saskatoon and the surrounding area. The right individual is one that can bring in new business with the ability to eventually take over leadership of the branch and team.
- Develop new business, primarily in Saskatoon the and surrounding area, while assisting with any other customers as necessary - develop a familiarity with all of our customers.
- Spend time in the branch learning all policies, procedures and operations including warehouse, order desk, computer system.
- Product knowledge - become an expert in the products we sell in order to win more business, while training/advising customers and new staff.
- The branch manager will conduct any function at the branch as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 to 3 years in a sales position.
- Previous leadership experience would be an asset.
- Proven sales excellence and solid relationships in the construction/industrial sales community.
- Highly developed communication, presentation and computer skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Detail oriented and strong numeracy including fractions and imperial measures.
- Own car with a clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
