The Sexualized Assault Response Team (SART) is a group of service providers that support victims of sexualized assault. SART provides support that:
- focuses on the victim's needs, concerns and rights - it's the victim's choice.
- is positive - victims should feel dignified and respected by service providers.
- is trauma-informed; the victim's lived experience will always be considered.
- takes into account the social realities and barriers in the Yukon, as well as the impact of colonization on Yukon First Nations people.
- acknowledges that sexualized assault is a form of gender-based violence; and
- recognizes that certain groups are more at risk of sexualized violence, including:
- women.
- youth.
- Indigenous people.
- 2SLGBTQIA+ people.
- people with disabilities; and
- seniors.
The SART Clinical Coordinator is a member of the Community Health Programs team which delivers a variety of health programs and services to Yukoners across the Territory.
Your role
Clinical Coordinator, Sexualized Assault Response Team (SART) is responsible for the successful operation of the Yukon's sexual assault health services. As the program lead, the Clinical Coordinator will identify and define policies and procedures, best practices, as well as the implementation strategies required to deliver the program's goals and objectives. Due to the sensitive nature of this position, the Clinical Coordinator must be able to build, and maintain lasting relationships with the program team, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Essential qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Current registration in good standing with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority (please note this clearly on your resume).
- Recent experience in nursing practices, and techniques with an emphasis on Sexual Health, Sexual Assault, and victim supports.
- Experience in identifying, creating, and/or updating policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience in training, mentoring, and/or orientating new clinical staff
- Knowledge and experience of Court proceedings and legal procedures would be considered an asset.

- Exposure to clients with high levels of emotional need, direct and vicarious trauma, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
- Support for victims and care providers of sexual assault.
- Working in either an office environment, hospital setting, or in community.
- Travel within Yukon.
