Security Operations is the team that handles day to day protection of our environment and the tools that support them. This team takes care of identifying security weaknesses and facilitates remediation efforts. Additionally, this team monitors networks to assesses abnormal behaviors and manages security incidents to allow for execution of response processes.
Your impact:
Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Security Operations, the Lead Cloud Security Analyst supports a wide array of security processes and concepts. You be responsible for securing cloud environments through monitoring, assessment, and implementation of security controls across multi-cloud infrastructures. You will also support compliance with security standards and work collaboratively with internal teams. You will be encouraged to cultivate an engineering mindset, supporting innovative security solutions and processes that address real-world problems and shape the future.
What the role offers:
- Deploying Vulnerability Management tools for containerized environments such as GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Supporting the security design of OpenText Public cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure and GCP
- Testing and implementing security solutions for the monitoring and protection of company assets in the cloud
- Deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud and container security tools such as Prisma Cloud (RedLock/Twistlock), Lacework, Sysdig, etc.
- Analyzing requirements for security tools and technology (SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, other)
- Automating security controls to streamline operational services and support
- Supporting security incident response
- Creating and maintaining cloud security documentation and policies
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as necessary
What you need to succeed:
- 4+ years in cloud security and related IT security roles
- Experience with cloud infrastructure protection methods
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure and GCP
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, etc.)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk) and operations
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, anti-virus, and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience with cloud security metrics and KPIs
- Strong analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field; CISSP, CISA, or CISM certifications preferred
