Title: Guidewire Digital Cloud Architect Location: Toronto, Ontario/Remote Duration: 6 Months Introduction As a Senior Architect, you will leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies and core insurance platforms to lead the modernization and scaling of our insurance technology ecosystem. This role requires a unique blend of cloud architecture proficiency across AWS and Azure, and in-depth knowledge of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Guidewire Cloud Platform applications. A key focus will be accelerating our adoption of Guidewire Cloud and orchestrating complex migrations from on-premise systems to Guidewire SaaS solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Guidewire Cloud Platform Experience as an Azure Cloud Architect Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with AWS Knowledge of microservices architectures, containerization strategies (Kubernetes, Docker), and serverless functions Familiarity with AI-powered capabilities and advanced analytics Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provide architectural oversight for Guidewire implementations and strategic migration initiatives to Guidewire Cloud SaaS. Design, optimize, and govern Guidewire Cloud deployments with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, integration, and security. Lead efforts to transition legacy on-premise Guidewire environments to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximized business value. Architect and support seamless integrations between Guidewire Cloud applications, digital platforms, third-party services, and AI-powered capabilities. Collaborate closely with engineering, business, and infrastructure leaders to deliver enterprise-grade cloud and Guidewire solutions. Mentor solution architects, developers, and engineers to uplift architectural capabilities focused on Guidewire Cloud expertise and cloud migration strategies.
