Job Description: The Security Operator plays a key role in overseeing a modern healthcare Control Centre. Responsibilities include monitoring fire and life safety systems, access control, and CCTV; coordinating and deploying security staff; and managing dispatch and incident call-taking.Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, emergencies, and assistance requestsControl access to and from the propertyLog radio transmissions, phone calls, and verbal instructionsDirect backup support when requiredNotify management of major incidentsMaintain the camera surveillance systemAnswer all incoming security phone lines, including emergency linesEnsure operations follow established policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:No security license requiredImmunization records for MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, and TB (Step 1 & 2)Immunization guide: https://paladinsecurity.com//wp-content/uploads/2023/07/How-to-get-immunization-records-Paladin.pdfKHSC Immunization Forms requiredFull MMR-V and Pertussis immunization must be complete at time of hireValid First Aid/CPR Level C (WSIB-approved)Ability to be clean-shaven for N95 Mask Fit TestMinimum 6+ months experience in a control center/dispatch role (healthcare/security an asset)Strong professionalism, attention to detail, and observational skillsExcellent English communication (written and verbal)Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make sound decisionsStrong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and teamworkProficiency with computers, phones, and surveillance systems preferredLegally authorized to work in Canada Certification Requirements (All) First Aid, CPR Level C
