Learn more about our Purpose and what drives us by visiting our Who We Are page.Position Description: Clark Builders is hiring a Foreman for a projects in Fort McMurray The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area.Reporting to: SuperintendentDuties and Responsibilities:Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and proceduresIdentify hazards and correct any unsafe conditionsLead QA/QC checks and inspectionsLead site specific orientations and tailgate meetingsDraft and submit RFI’sAssume control of the site if the Superintendent is off siteOther duties as requiredRepresent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful mannerAdhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.Skills and Knowledge:Experience working under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) modelThe ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to othersExcellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.Conflict resolutionThe capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the seasonQualifications:Journeyperson trade certification8+ years of construction experienceValid first aid certificate an assetValid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an assetWhat's in it for you?Competitive wages and vacation pay.Opportunity to work overtime hours.Employer RRSP Matching program.Employee and Family Assistance (EFAP) program.Comprehensive health and benefits plan.Employee referral program – earn a cash bonus if the candidate you refer passes their 90-day probation.Comments:Please note that only candidates local to the Fort McMurray area will be considered.Environmental aspects (weather, heights, etc.) play an important role for this position since work is often outdoors.*Please note this is a safety sensitive position.Ready to build your career with us?
