Join us and be a part of a team that lives and breathes these values every day Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of procurement and supply chain management. The Junior Buyer will work closely with our purchasing department to support various procurement activities and learn the fundamentals of procurement processes. Responsibilities Support the procurement team by placing purchase orders based on approved requisitions from internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment of material needs Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, and follow up with suppliers to ensure alignment with schedule requirements Assist in resolving receiving and invoice discrepancies in coordination with the receiving and finance teams Help maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records and supplier information in the ERP system Collaborate with internal departments such as Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to ensure smooth flow of materials and services Promote effective communication with suppliers regarding quality expectations and on-time delivery Act as a point of contact for basic supplier interactions and documentation, escalating more complex issues to senior team members Contribute to ongoing initiatives related to supplier performance improvement and cost reduction efforts Requirements Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or recent graduate) Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Effective communication and interpersonal skills Our careers culture is fueled by innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
