We are currently seeking a "Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect " for a contract role with one of our clients in Toronto, ON/Remote. Please apply if you would be interested and available for it.

About: We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions for enterprise-level clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to deliver tailored marketing automation solutions that drive customer engagement and business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Develop and lead the technical architecture of SFMC implementations across multiple channels, including email, SMS, push, social media, and web.
  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and third-party systems.
  • Lead the implementation of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and other SFMC tools.
  • Define and enforce best practices for SFMC design, security, and data management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and effective SFMC solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SFMC implementation and usage.
  • Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates, tools, and features, and provide recommendations on new functionalities to improve marketing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and more.
  • Expertise in data integration, API integrations, and working with Salesforce data models (including Contact Builder and Data Extensions).
  • Experience with automation tools and cloud technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficient in SQL, AMPscript, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing and implementing large-scale marketing automation projects.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting within SFMC.
  • Experience with other Salesforce tools, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud.
