We have recently beenacquiredby Johnsons Control, expanding our portfolio all over the globe.Our experienced and energetic team delivers flexible design, advanced systems, and solutions for the most complex HVAC challenges.Motivated by innovation and success, we aim to drive change in our industry, challenge the status quo, and be a partner- instead of a vendor to our clients.OverviewThe2ndand 3rdyearApprentice Electricians areprimarily responsible for installing andterminatingconduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, and various control components and devices for Silent-Aire Limited Partnership. This position constructs andfabricates control panels/systems and installs interlocking wiringand performs wiring check out.Roles & ResponsibilitiesInstall andterminateconduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, and various control components and devices.Construct and fabricate control panels and rough and finish wiring and control systems.Install interlocking wiring and perform wiring check out.Install system components and wiring in compliance with the NEC, NESC, NFPA and the UFC.Install, troubleshoot, repair, andmaintainelectrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devices.Provide material take-offs for electrical facilities equipment requirements.Propose changes or modifications to plans to enhance operation and efficiency of systems plans and specifications for facilities.Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.Test installed/repaired/modified equipment for proper performance.Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.Keep detailed andaccuratemaintenance reports and documentation.Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.Monitor parts usage and report on any materials issues.Assistin preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.Performs all dutiesin accordance withSilent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesRegistered as an apprentice electrician in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school.Ability to work under the supervision of journeyman electricians, as part of a team, and independently in a busy environment.Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations an asset.Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.Able to work well under pressure.Strong attention to detail.Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionallyat all times.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Dental careExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingRRSP matchVision care
