It is accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation CanadaPosition: Full-Time Security GuardSite: Headwaters Health | 100 Rolling Hills Dr, Orangeville, ON L9W 6T6Averaging Agreement: Employment Standards ActHours: Monday to Friday (1500-2300)Payrate: | $19.63/hourPosting Date: January 5, 2026Internal Closing Date: January 9, 2026External Closing Date: January 19, 2026Key responsibilities:·Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security·Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.·Monitor and control entry points to the hospital, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.·Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist hospital staff as needed during crises and evacuations.·Greeting and assisting visitors, patients, and hospital staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to hospital policies and procedures.·De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally.·Document and report daily activities, incidents, security concerns or accidents accurately·Work closely with hospital staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safety·Ensure that hospital policies, including visitor and patient protocols, are followedPrerequisites:·Valid Security License for the province of Ontario·Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider·Covid Vaccine 2 doses·Proof of up to date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step Tuberculosis skin test·Must be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the training·Vulnerable Sector Check·English (oral/written) fluency is a must·Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.·Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)·Legally authorized to work in CanadaWhy choose Paladin?·Free Uniforms·Additional perks·Work today, get paid today—daily pay availableAdditional Information/Benefits:Paladin Security has a diverse workforce.
