Work Environment:This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area.This is a full-time employee position working a shift rotation.What you’ll do: Operate the facility safely and efficiently while working collaboratively as part of the operations team.Maintain and troubleshoot area-specific equipment to optimize performance and achieve production targets in line with company guidelines.Conduct condition monitoring activities, including sampling and testing, in accordance with area responsibilities. Accurately complete operational records such as volume balances, log sheets, work permits and required reports.Support maintenance activities carried out by operations, aligned with the site’s operating philosophy. Ensure on-site maintenance personnel are informed of and comply with company requirements, policies, and practices.Provide assistance, coaching, on-the-job training, and competency assessments for new employees as required.Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) requirements while performing the responsibilities of the position.Who you are:Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:Legally authorized to work in CanadaMinimum 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate required; preference will be given to candidates holding a 2nd Class Certificate or who have made significant progress toward completing their 2nd Class.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with a focus on SAGD operations.Experience operating steam generation equipment, control panels, oil processing systems, and/or well equipment, along with associated processes and systems, is considered an asset.Demonstrated knowledge of safety, regulatory standards, and operating procedures.We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines.
