Night Sanitation Operator

Position: Sanitation Operator Address: 365 Passmore Ave, Scarborough ON  Shift: Night Shift; 9pm-6am or 10am-7am or 11pm-8am dependent on daily production; Sunday to Thursday shift with occasional Saturday shift. Job Type: Full-Time Perks: $21 per hour $0.50 Night shift premium $1 Weekend premium $150 Safety Boots reimbursement Company Benefits Plan Weekly Pay PPE and Safety Gear Provided Recognition and Rewards Program Hiring Requirements: As a Sanitation Operator at Bimbo Canada, you will be: Responsible for understanding, preparing and effectively utilizing general sanitation chemicals (Safety Handling, Applications, Dilutions), and equipment cleaning requirements on all lines and general housekeeping.  Apply knowledge of Health and Safety practices, procedures and principles as well as working knowledge of OHSA.  Utilize and maintain in-house sanitation cleaning equipment including Foamers, Power washers, Vacuums, Sanitizers, and floor Scrubbers (training provided in house) as per tasks assigned  Job tasks often require bending, significant walking, scrubbing above shoulder height, mopping moving objects, pull, push equipment etc.  Understand, follow, and maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations as required. Occasional lifting with a partner greater than 50 lbs. up to 75 lbs.  Must have ability to troubleshoot equipment within the production environment.  Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written English  Strong knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP policies and procedures in a food manufacturing facility.  Forklift, Boom, and Skyjack certification and experience would be an asset.  Ability to work overtime as required  Growth Opportunities: Bimbo Canada is committed to personal and professional growth.
