Job Description:Our DXC Security services helps customers assess risk and proactively address all facets of their security environment, from threat intelligence to compliance. We leverage proven methodologies, intelligent automation and industry-leading partners to tailor security solutions to our customers' unique business needs.Implementing MDR Security technologies in customer environments.Technologies include but not limited to, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike and Microsoft Defender MDR.Providing on-going run support of implemented technologies.Working changes based on standard service measures and Change Management guidelinesProviding technical training to other Support Team membersMentor junior members of the teamTroubleshooting change implementation problems Documenting customer infrastructure and configuration and processLiaise with vendors to support customer devices and environmentsExcellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in writing and verballyAllocating tasks to staffOrganizing holidays and trainingDiscussing and resolving problems Evaluate and implement unique or complex MDR Security Endpoint technologies in customer environments. - Review and may resolve complex business issues.Engages team members for support as required to ensure internal or external business and end users/clients ServiceEnsure Level Agreements (SLA) demands are metMust be confident and eager to take on additional more complex tasksAbility to act as a mentor and guide other employees. Ability to provide direction and guidance to process improvements.Ability to articulate clearly, recommend and explain resolutions and enhancements to our clients.Has the knowledge and confidence to act as point of expertise and trusted advisor for peers and customers alikeUnderstand and utilize Information Technology Information Library (ITIL).Comfortable managing technical issue as well as customer business impact and ability to blend and appreciate these aspects in communication with customerSecurity Implementation SME in wide ranging endpoint security MDR technologies.Allocating tasks to staffEnsuring the performance of the staff is of a high standardReporting to managementOrganizing holidays and trainingDiscussing and resolving problemsEducation RequiredCollege Degree required or equivalent experience,5-7 years’ experience in EDR solutions such as Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, and Microsoft Defender being supported in customer environments.5+ years IT Experience of customer delivery/customer service5 Technical Industry Standard Certifications in Security and/or Network.Network and/or Security Operations Center Industry ExperienceRelevant industry qualification where applicable.Working knowledge of IDS/IPS, VPN Technologies, Authentication Software, Microsoft and CitrixenvironmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in language to be supportedAdvanced and evidence of trouble-shooting skills in a technical environmentExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsAdvanced Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devicesAdvanced proficiency with case management databases and toolsSuperior customer service skillsTelephone and remote support experience.
