If you want a career where no two days are the same, this is it.We are currently accepting applications from Apprentice Electricians interested in joining our established Fredericton-based team.What You’ll Learn & DoWorking alongside and under the guidance of a Journeyman Electrician, you will learn how to:Read and understand drawings, circuit diagrams, electrical code, and project specifications.Troubleshoot electrical issues using proper testing devices.Repair and replace equipment, wiring, fixtures, and controls.Install PVC, EMT, and galvanized steel conduit systems.Install and repair distribution equipment such as switchboards, panelboards, and disconnect switches.Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.You’ll gain real-world experience on projects that help power communities and industries across Atlantic Canada.Education & RequirementsHigh school diploma or Grade 12 equivalent.Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.Ability to travel and work away from home (hotel stays may be required; travel costs compensated).Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.Work ScheduleOur electrical project teams typically work a 4-day week — 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday — giving you long weekends most weeks.Fridays, weekends, evenings, and out-of-town travel may be required depending on project needs (all travel fully compensated).As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Kennebec Construction Services Limited offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.If you want to be part of a team that treats each other like family and tackles some of the coolest electrical projects in Atlantic Canada — we want to hear from you.
