Purpose

As a member of the global Orion Health Information Security Team, the Information Security Analyst will support the Information Security strategy through the implementation, integration and maintenance of application and infrastructure security. In addition to this the role takes part in ensuring "secure-by-design" practices in support of Cybersecurity best practices and Orion Health policies and processes, as well as applicable industry regulations and standards.

Success looks like…

Security and business continuity threats and risks have been handled in a timely manner

Security and IT tools are used appropriately to prevent and detect key technical risks to the enterprise

Security projects are delivered with security solutions within agreed upon timeframes

Successful delivery and maintenance of Orion Health's security controls, capabilities and compliance levels

Identified development opportunities and training are undertaken to progress as a Cybersecurity professional Overall success in this role is reliant on living the Orion Health Values.

Business Unit

Security and Assurance – Information Security team

The Information Security Team contributes to Orion Health's success by providing services to Orion Health to preserve the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Orion Health Information assets and systems.

Key Relationships

Internal:

Chief Information Security Officer, Cybersecurity Officer, Information Security Team; Professional and Managed Services teams; Assurance team; R&D Product teams

External:

Client, Third Party vendors

Essential Functions

Working closely with all members of the Security team, provide support to the global Orion Health businesses across multiple time zones

Working in on-call rotation to provide Incident response cover for the global Orion Health businesses

Collaborate with customer delivery teams to identify security requirements and help build secure solutions for customers

Help interpret complex requirements and implement agreed solutions to address security concerns in a timely manner

Help identify security threats to Orion Health Information assets, determine their criticality, and communicate to management

Provide security monitoring and analyze security reports

Support security incident response to ensure that they are identified, contained and eradicated in a timely manner

Work as part of the Security team in security incident resolution and risk evaluations

Operate and maintain tools and associated documentation owned by the Security team

Assist with completing Threat Modeling exercises using STRIDE analysis

Contribute to the development of security policy and procedures

Implement agreed control improvements to the security and risk management practices to improve overall security posture and gain efficiencies for the business.

Interact as part of the Global SOC to identify suspicious activities and take appropriate action

Prepare reports based on various security audits

Complete security compliance questionnaires as needed

Relevant Experience:

1–3 years in similar roles Monitoring network/app events & incident response OS, application, network, and database architectures Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) Risk mitigation controls (technical, physical, administrative)

Preferred Experience:

1–3 years in similar roles Security & deployment automation Penetration testing (App/Network) Scripting/programming languages Analyzing network traffic & event logs Security tools (SIEMs, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, antivirus)

Education and Qualifications

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant work experience

Desirable:

Security certifications (e.g., Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Incident Handler etc.)

Experience of using cloud-based solutions

HIPAA or HITRUST understanding
