JOB DESCRIPTION Alta Vista Animal Hospital located in Ottawa., ON., currently welcoming a full-time Pharmacy Assistant/Client Service Representative to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parentsFilling prescriptions and dispensing medications as directed by a veterinarianReceive client calls regarding refill requests. Review patient records for remaining refills, necessary exam or bloodwork needed, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptionsPerform stocking procedures throughout the hospitalQuarterly inventory; date entryProvide training for new team members and assist with training protocolsAssist clients with any questions they have regarding prescriptions.
