The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy, data management, and analytics, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills. The aim is to transform RBC’s journey by ensuring that data is recognized and treated as a strategic asset and is utilized to its fullest potential as a key driver of innovation and sustained competitive advantage, while complying to appropriate standards and policies.What will you do? Guide the development and documentation of business data strategy, in collaboration with relevant stakeholdersReview data trends, best practices and emerging data technologies and capabilities across the industry, incorporating innovation to continuously enhance data strategy while supporting evolving business objectivesManage relationships with business stakeholders and build deep understanding of their data needs across the Bank and communicate new data requirements, decisions and/or strategies effectivelyIdentify opportunities to use data to create innovative solutions, improve customer experience, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and regulatory complianceChampion the importance of data throughout the organization by promoting awareness and demonstrating the value of data insights in business outcomes, identify gaps in the existing landscape and provide recommendationsServe as a trusted advisor to executives, senior business leaders, and cross-functional teamsLead working groups to align data priorities and resolve obstaclesWhat do you need to succeed?
