.fit_to_content{width:%;height:auto}Your roleAs a Field Service Technician, your mission is to facilitate growth of Power Technique’s Aftermarket through a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality maintenance, repair and overhaul of portable air compressors, dewatering pumps, and generators at customer locations or Atlas Copco Service Center. This role is hybrid and you will report into a service center manager. You willPerform routine, preventive maintenance and repairs on portable air compressors, generators, light towers and dewatering pumps, including diesel engines in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors and pumps, determine possible causes, and perform repairs.Test and document proper operating parameters.Provide basic tools for job along with normal maintenance of tools and equipment.Provide high level of customer service.Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.Train and assist other technical support personnel and service technicians.To succeed, you will need We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.You have 5 years of technical service experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.1-2 years of technical service experience maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment, generators, light towers and dewatering pumps (Atlas Copco and other) or equivalent is preferred.Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of portable compressors is strongly preferred.Strong mechanical and electrical skills.Experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair – including factory training on Cummins, Kubota, John Deere, Isuzu, Perkins and/or Volvo engines will be a plus.Factory training will be provided for John Deere, Cummins, Perkins, Isuzu, Kubota and KohlerA basic level of understanding and competence with computers and associated systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), business systems, distribution channels and accounting practices.Must maintain a valid driver’s license.In return, we offer Culture of trust and accountabilityLifelong learning and career growthInnovation powered by peopleComprehensive compensation and benefitsHealth and well-being
